BILLING PRACTICE
The international practice of billing by the hour is applied in the Firm. Our rates range from USD 50.00 – USD 350.00 per hour (which may be modified over time), depending on the skill, experience and knowledge of the attorneys in charge of the assignment. Compared to other law firms of our size in Indonesia, these rates rank quite favorable. For particular types of work, such as dispute settlements (litigation or arbitration) and capital markets transactions, upon client’s request we may make exceptions.
INVOICES
Our invoices for expenses incurred may be denominated in United Stated Dollars or Indonesian Rupiah. These expenses include, in addition to the legal fees, facsimile, long distance telephone calls, courier service, travel, staff and building overtime and photocopy. Should we anticipate a significant amount of out of pocket expenses, we will request client for advances. Invoices are issued monthly, at the beginning of the month for work which requires a relatively lengthy amount of time to complete or at any time of the month forthwith upon completion of the work for shorter term transactions. Payment matures upon receipt of our bill.
