CEMBY & AVRILINE is a firm of advocates, both litigation and corporate. It was initially founded in 1997 under a different name and the firm assumed the name CEMBY & AVRILINE in February 2006.

Its founders, Mr. Josia Cemby Hutapea and Ms. Avriline Mianuli Hutahayan, are graduates of the Law School of Universitas Indonesia. Thereafter they became colleagues in one of Indonesia’s prominent international law firm, where they had acquired considerable experience in various sectors of the law, before eventually forming their own allegiance with the ideology of building a preeminent legal practice.

CEMBY & AVRILINE is considered a medium-sized law firm, which in fact has proved to be very beneficial for the firm, allowing all members of the firm to interact with one another on a daily basis.
